How do I move an event to new dates?

Updated

Open Settings (the gear icon) and change the date Day 1 is on. Every day moves by the same number of days and keeps its start time. Before any routes are added, you can change the start and end dates directly.

Move the whole event

  1. Open the event and choose the gear icon for Settings.
  2. Change the date under Day 1 is on (or Stage 1 is on for a race).
  3. Save. You’ll see, for example, “Saved. Every day moved 7 days later.”

Start times stay the same, and the link doesn’t change, so riders don’t need anything new.

Before you add routes

While an event has no days yet, Settings shows Starts and Ends, and you can change both.

Days that fall after the end date

If you add more GPX files than there are dates, the extra days go on the dates after the end, and Windline tells you how many. Delete any you don’t want, or keep them: they work like every other day.

Moving one day

To move a single day, open it and pick a new date under When. See reordering and moving days.
