Move an event to a page
Updated
Open the event, choose ••• then Move to…, and pick where it goes: one of the pages you run, or Your rides. A sheet names where it’s going before anything moves. People already in it stay in, and the new page’s members who asked to hear get one notice. Past events and private ones don’t move.
Every event lives in one place: your Rides, or one page you run. Move to… changes which.
Move it
- Open the event on the dashboard at app.windline.tech, from Rides or from your page under Clubs, Coaching or Organising.
- Choose ••• at the top, then Move to…. (It’s also in Settings, beside where the event lives.)
- Pick where it goes: Your rides, or one of your pages. The one it’s on now says Here now.
- Check the sheet. It names where it’s going and who hears about it. Choose Move.
What happens
- People already in it stay in. Who’s riding each date goes with it, and the event stays in each rider’s Riding list.
- The new page’s members who turned on Tell me when the club adds a ride (on a coaching page, Tell me when they add a session) get one notice, for example “Ultimate Sports Coaching added a session”. A draft is announced when you publish it.
- The page it left says nothing. It just isn’t listed there any more.
- Moved to Your rides, it’s yours alone again, on no page. Its link keeps working wherever it lives.
Who can move it, and what can’t move
- Only the event’s owner, and only between places they run: the page it’s on now, and the page it’s going to.
- Past events never move. What’s happened stays as it was.
- Private rides can’t go on a page. Move to says Make it shared first: share it with a group from Who sees it, then move it.
Move to is on the dashboard at app.windline.tech, and in the iPhone and Android apps.
