How do I report an event?

In the iPhone app, open the event, tap the … menu and choose Report this event. On the website, use Report this event at the foot of the event’s page. Tell us what’s wrong; a real person reviews every report, and events that break the rules are removed.
How to report an event
- In the iPhone app: open the event, tap the … menu, then Report this event.
- On the website: open the event’s page and tap Report this event at the foot of the page.
- Anywhere else: choose Report an event on the contact form and paste the event’s link.
The form fills in which event it is. Tell us what’s wrong, and add a screenshot if it helps. You’ll get a reference number, such as WL-1042, and a copy by email.
What isn’t allowed
Events on Windline are made by their organisers. An event can be removed if it:
- Has an offensive, hateful or abusive name, description or day names.
- Pretends to be another event, club or organisation.
- Is spam, or advertises something. Sponsors on Windline are placed by Windline only; see sponsors and event partners.
- Shares someone’s private information, such as a home address.
- Promotes anything illegal or dangerous.
What happens next
A real person at Windline reads every report. If the event breaks the rules, we unpublish or remove it, and we may close the organiser’s account. We’ll reply by email to say what we’ve done. We don’t tell the organiser who reported it.
