How do I find someone in a race with livedot in ChatGPT or Claude?

Ask for them

In ChatGPT or Claude, add livedot: search for it, or add it at https://livedot.me/mcp. No account needed. See using livedot in ChatGPT and Claude.

Then ask the way you’d say it:

• By name and race: “Where’s Thandi in the Coast Classic?”
• By their livedot link: “Where’s livedot.me/thandi?” or “@thandi”. See your livedot link.
• By their follow link: paste the windline.tech/f/… link they sent you.

A link points to one person, so it answers straight away. A name finds riders who switched on Findable by anyone for a public race.

When several people match

livedot never guesses between people. With a common name, it shows a short list in the chat:

• the people who are live first, then the person whose livedot link matches the name, then the closest names;
• each with how far they’ve gone and their speed, so you can tell them apart;
• a box to narrow it by surname or initial.

Tap the right one, or tell the assistant a surname or initial, and you get their live answer. Their livedot link avoids the question: ask them for it before race day.

When nobody matches

livedot says so plainly. Usually the rider hasn’t switched on Findable by anyone, hasn’t gone live yet, or isn’t in a race right now. Ask them for their livedot link or follow link instead. Give at least three letters of a name.

The whole race

Ask “How’s the Coast Classic going?” for the race itself: how long it’s been under way, how many riders are on the map, how many have finished and who’s out front, with a map of the field and Watch the race, the race’s live map on windline.tech. If the race isn’t live yet, livedot says when it starts, if that’s in the next two weeks.

Try it now

The Coast Classic demo runs every day. Ask “Where’s Thandi in the Coast Classic demo?” or “How’s the Coast Classic demo going?”
