How do I share a day or an event from the Android app?
Updated
Tap Share on any day once its forecast is out, or the share button at the top of an event. Choose Post 4:5 or Story 9:16, then Share image, Copy caption or Share link. The caption has the link, so paste it into your Instagram or Facebook post. It works on your own events and My Rides too.
Share a day or the whole event
- On a day, tap Share at the top of the sheet. It’s on every day once its forecast is out: events you follow, your own events and My Rides. For the whole event, tap the share button at the top of the event.
- The panel says Share this day (or Share this stage, Share this ride, Share the tour). Choose the shape: Post 4:5 for a feed, or Story 9:16.
- Then:
- Share image: opens your phone’s share menu (Instagram, WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Photos and so on). The caption is copied too.
- Copy caption: the words and the link, ready to paste.
- Share link: just the link.
Tap Done when you’ve finished.
For Instagram and Facebook, share the image, then paste the caption into your post. It has the link.
What’s on the image
For a day: the route on the map, coloured by the wind, with the day’s rating, the headwind or tailwind, the effect bar, and the wind, temperature, rain and distance. For the whole event: every day with its rating.
From your own event
In the event’s editor, tap Share (or, just after publishing, use You’re live): Copy, Share link, WhatsApp or Image. Image opens the same panel as above, with your event’s ratings. See editing and publishing in the app.
Private rides
Images of a private ride hide the first and last kilometre of the route, so nobody sees where you live. See planning a ride just for you.
