How do I enter the Windline 1000 from the Android app?
Updated
Sign in, then open Settings and tap The Windline 1000, or tap the banner on the Events screen when it’s showing. Tap Enter the Windline 1000 and connect Strava once. Your total then shows on the Events screen as you ride, and you can save or share your finisher card.
The Windline 1000 is riding 1,000 km (621 miles) between 16 and 31 December, anywhere in the world. It’s free. See the Windline 1000 for the rules.
Enter
- Open Settings and tap The Windline 1000, or tap the banner on the Events screen when it’s showing.
- Tap Enter the Windline 1000. Not signed in? It says Sign in to enter: sign in from Settings → Sign in or create an account first. See signing in.
- Connect Strava once, if you haven’t already. Leave both boxes ticked: Windline only reads your rides and adds your total to their descriptions.
- Strava sends you back to Windline, and it says You’re in.
The Windline 1000 screen also has the four steps (Enter, Ride, Watch it add up, Finish), How the Windline 1000 works, the club with the weekly leaderboard, and Help.
While it’s on
The banner on the Events screen shows your total out of 1,000 km, the days left, your rides, and a bar for each day. Tap the X to hide it.
Enter late and every ride since the 16th still counts.
Your finisher card
When you reach 1,000 km, your finisher card arrives on 1 January. Tap See your finisher card. Save puts it in your phone’s Pictures (in a Windline folder), and Share sends it anywhere.
Messages
