What’s on the iPhone app’s Events screen?
Updated
The Events screen is the whole app: today’s ride at the top, then My Rides (your own rides), Riding (events you follow) and Organising (events you run). The buttons at the top open your clubs, add an event and open Settings.
There’s no tab bar: everything starts on Events, and each screen has a back button.
At the top
- The people button opens your clubs. It shows once you’re signed in.
- + (Add an event): Follow an event from a link, or Set up a new event.
- The gear opens Settings.
On the screen, from the top
- The Windline 1000 banner, in the run-up to and during the challenge. See the Windline 1000 in the app.
- Today’s ride, when one of your rides is today or tomorrow. It shows the rating, the headwind or tailwind, the times, the wind, gusts, temperature and rain. Tap it to open the day.
- My Rides: your own rides and trips, just for you. See planning a ride just for you.
- Riding: events you follow, and club rides you said you’re riding.
- Organising: events you set up for others, published or draft.
Each event shows its route, dates and a strip of coloured ratings, one per day (green Good, amber Fair, red Tough), and when the forecast was last updated.
Handy gestures
- Pull down to refresh every event.
- Press and hold an event under Riding and choose Stop following.
