How do I show my club and coach when I’m live?

On the web dashboard, open Account and find Club and coach. Pick your coach (No coach is the default) and the club shown on live tracking (Automatic, one of your clubs, or Don’t show). People following you see one short line under your name, like “Fourways Striders · Coach Thandi”. It never shows on private rides.
Choose your coach and club
- On the web dashboard, open Account.
- Find Club and coach.
- Under Your coach, type a name to search the coaches listed on Windline, and pick yours. No coach is the default.
- Under Club shown on live tracking, pick one of your clubs, Automatic or Don’t show.
It saves as soon as you pick, and the preview shows how followers will see you. If you’re live right now, the change shows straight away.
Automatic shows the club of the race you’re riding if you’re a member, otherwise your first club. Only clubs you’re a member of are listed.
What followers see
One short line under your name, with the club’s logo: Fourways Striders · Coach Thandi. Each name links to the club’s or the coach’s page on livedot.
It shows wherever you’re already shown live: your follow link, your livedot link, the race and club maps, and in ChatGPT or Claude through livedot. A coach can also see how the riders who chose them are doing on a race. It never shows on a private ride, and it never shows anything else about you.
Turn it off
Pick No coach and Don’t show. The line disappears at once.
Your coach isn’t listed
Coaches list themselves on Windline. If yours isn’t there yet, ask them to apply on the club and organiser pages form.
