What does Windline keep about me?

Updated

Riders who only open links aren’t asked for anything. Organisers’ accounts keep a name, email, how they sign in, their events and routes, and a record of emails sent. Windline uses no ad trackers and never sells data.

If you only open event pages

No account, no name and no email. Like every website, our servers briefly see your internet address when a page loads, to keep the service running and stop abuse. There are no advertising trackers and no outside analytics. Windline counts visits itself, without cookies: the page, your device type and browser, and your country from your device’s time zone. Your internet address is never stored.

If you have an account

  • Your name and email, and how you sign in.
  • Your events: routes, dates, start times, pace, stops and names.
  • Your organisation name, if you add one.
  • A record of the emails we’ve sent you.

What we never collect

Your location, contacts, photos, health data or payment details. The forecast is made from routes, not from where you are.

If you contact support

We keep your name, email, message, and the browser and device type sent with it, so we can answer you.

The full details, including your rights and how long we keep things, are in our privacy policy.
