How do I send Windline photos from my rides?
Updated
Go to windline.tech/share, add up to 5 photos, your name and email, and tick the box to say they’re yours. We look at every photo and feature the best on Windline’s Instagram and Facebook, always with credit to you. Email hello@windline.tech to have yours removed at any time.
Send your photos
- Open windline.tech/share on your phone or computer.
- Add up to 5 photos: drag them into the box, or tap Choose photos.
- Add your name and email address. Your Instagram handle is optional; add it if you’d like to be tagged.
- If you like, say where you rode, add a link to the Windline event, and write a line about the ride (up to 280 characters).
- Tick the box to say you took the photos and are happy for Windline to share them, then tap Send my photos.
You don’t need a Windline account. Sharing photos works on the website only, in any browser; it isn’t in the iPhone app.
What happens next
A real person at Windline looks at every photo. The ones we share go on Windline’s Instagram and Facebook, and may also appear on Windline’s website, always with credit to you: your Instagram handle if you added one, otherwise your name. We email you when yours is up.
Your email address is only for that, or to ask you a question about a photo. It’s never shown.
Your photos and your privacy
You keep the rights to your photos. Before they leave your device, your browser shrinks each one and removes its hidden details, such as where and when it was taken. Windline’s server checks this again. Until we share them, only Windline can see your photos.
Remove your photos
Changed your mind? Email hello@windline.tech from the address you used. We’ll delete your photos and details, and take down any post of ours that uses them. More in our privacy policy.
If a photo won’t add
- Use JPEG, PNG or HEIC photos. Some browsers on Windows and Android can’t open HEIC (the iPhone’s own format): save the photo as a JPEG first, or send it from your iPhone.
- You can send 5 photos at a time, and up to 5 times a day.
- If sending stops part-way, check your connection and tap Send my photos again.
