The forecast isn’t showing
Updated
If a day says “Forecast opens”, it’s more than about 10 days away. If it says “Couldn’t load the forecast”, check your connection and choose Try again. A dash with “Forecast not available yet” usually clears within a few minutes.
Match the message
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “Soon” or “Forecast opens …” | The day is beyond Apple Weather’s 10-day window. | Open the link again on that date. See Forecast opens. |
| “No forecast for this time yet” | Same as above, on a day page. | Check back closer to the ride. |
| “Reading the wind” | The forecast is loading. | Wait a few seconds. |
| “Couldn’t load the forecast” | Your phone couldn’t reach Windline, or the request failed. | Check your signal and choose Try again. |
| “–“ and “Forecast not available yet” | The forecast couldn’t be fetched just then. | Reload in a few minutes. |
| “Forecast unavailable right now” (dashboard) | Same, in the organiser’s dashboard. | Reload in a few minutes. |
On a weak signal
The forecast for a long day is a few hundred readings, so it may take longer on a slow connection. Open the day while you still have good signal, for example the evening before.
