Why can’t I use the address I want?
Updated
Either another event of the same type already uses it, or it’s a word kept for Windline’s own pages, such as support, help, app or tour. Add a year, place or club name, for example pacific-coast-2027.
“… is taken. Try another.”
Another event of the same type has that address. Addresses are first come, first served, and each type has its own, so a taken tour.windline.tech/cape-loop doesn’t stop you using ride.windline.tech/cape-loop.
Try adding something that makes it yours: a year (pacific-coast-2027), a place (cape-loop-hout-bay) or your club’s name.
“… is kept for Windline’s own pages.”
These words can’t be used as an address: app, api, www, admin, login, signup, help, support, about, windline, tour, tours, race, races, ride, rides, new and settings.
“Use at least 2 letters or numbers.”
Addresses need 2 to 48 characters. See the address rules.
Is it your own old address?
An address stays reserved for you while the event is unpublished. Publish that event again to reuse it, or delete it to free the address for another event.
