What is livedot?

livedot (livedot.me) is a live tracking platform for sports events, for cycling and running, anywhere in the world. Windline is part of the livedot family: livedot.me is where people follow riders and runners live, across both apps. Organisers can get their event live, with a page at livedot.me/their-name, at livedot.me/organisers.

livedot is a live tracking platform for sports events. It has two apps: Windline for cycling and RunFast for running. Windline is part of the livedot family: livedot.me is where people follow riders and runners live, across both apps.
Windline stays the app you know: the route-timed forecast, Fly the route and live tracking all work as before, with the same free account. livedot is the shared home where your followers, and anyone following a runner, find everyone in one place.
Follow anyone, live, at livedot.me
Open livedot.me in any browser, on any phone or computer. No app and no account.
- Find someone by name: riders and runners who switched on Findable by anyone can be found by name, from either app.
- Live now: the races being tracked right now, in both sports, on one map.
- Organisers and clubs: search by name, or go straight to their page at livedot.me and their name.
- Your people: the riders and runners you follow, with whoever is live first. They’re kept on that device.
Opening a rider takes you to Windline’s own live page, with their dot on the course, their speed, when they’ll finish and the wind where they are, coloured stretch by stretch. From there you can give them a tap on the back. See following live.

What you share stays your choice
livedot shows only what Windline already shows publicly:
- You appear in livedot’s search only if you switched on Findable by anyone for that race.
- Everyone else follows you only with the link you share, or as one of your club’s members.
- Private races never appear, and livedot never shows an email address or a phone number.
You choose all of this on the race’s Live tracking card. See who can see you.
Your club or organisation at livedot.me
A Windline club or organiser page also has an address at livedot.me, the same name as on Windline: windline.tech/o/your-organisation is livedot.me/your-organisation. It shows what’s live now, what’s coming up and what’s been, and an organiser that runs cycling and running events gets both sports on one page. See club and organiser pages.
Organisers: get your event live
Organising a road race, a gravel race or a sportive? Fill in the form at livedot.me/organisers. A real person replies by email and sets up your page and your race with you. Your riders go live from the Windline app on the day, and everyone following sees the whole field on one map, with the wind where each rider is.
