How do I sponsor an event on Windline?

Updated

Tell us about your brand on the contact form (topic: Sponsors and event partners). Windline places one sponsor per event: “This event is proudly sponsored by” with your logo and a Visit button on every page riders open, a strip on the images they share, and a report of views and taps.

What you get

Riders open their event’s Windline page before every day of riding, often more than once. As the event’s sponsor, you’re there each time:

  • “This event is proudly sponsored by” with your logo, your name, a line about you and a Visit button to your website. It’s right under the event’s name at the top of its page, and on every day’s page, on the website and in the iPhone app.
  • The strip on share images. When riders share a day to Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp, your logo, name and web address are at the bottom of the image.
  • A line in the share caption: “Sponsored by” your name, with a link.
  • One slot per event. You’re the only sponsor riders see on it.

How it’s measured

  • Seen: how many times your card was on screen.
  • Taps: how many times riders tapped through to your site, split by where they tapped (the event page, the app or a shared post).

Windline counts these on its own server, without cookies, advertising trackers or anything that identifies a rider. You get the totals; nobody gets a list of riders.

What we need from you

  • Your name as riders should read it, and a line about you (up to about 140 characters).
  • Your website. We can add tracking tags (such as utm_source=windline) so visits show in your own analytics.
  • Your logo as a PNG or JPEG, ideally square and at least 256 by 256 pixels, on a white or transparent background.

Where it never appears

Sponsors don’t appear in Windline’s notifications or Home Screen widgets, and never change a forecast or a rating.
