How do I sponsor Windline?
Updated
Windline’s own sponsor keeps Windline free for every organiser and rider, for a period agreed with us: one brand at a time, shown as “Windline is free for everyone, thanks to …” in every organiser’s dashboard, at the foot of every event page and on windline.tech. The price depends on the length: the longer the period, the more it costs. Get in touch through the contact form.
Why Windline has a sponsor
Windline is free for every organiser and every rider, with no adverts in the way of the forecast. One brand at a time helps keep it that way, as Windline’s sponsor.
Where your brand appears
One line, the same everywhere: “Windline is free for everyone, thanks to” with your logo and name.
- In every organiser’s dashboard, on the web (the bar at the bottom) and in the iPhone app. Organisers are the people who set up tours, races and club rides, and they see it every time they work on an event.
- At the foot of every event page and every day’s forecast, seen by the riders following those events. That includes events with their own sponsor or partner: theirs is about the event, yours is about Windline.
- At the foot of windline.tech.
- A small “?” next to your name explains it: “Windline remains free for all users thanks to …”.
- Your name links to your website.
It never appears on riders’ share images, and it never interrupts a forecast.
One sponsor at a time
You’re the only brand supporting Windline while your period runs, with no rotation and no competitor beside you.
How it works
- Get in touch through the contact form and choose “Sponsors and partners”. Tell us your brand and roughly how long you’d like.
- We agree the period and price together. The longer the period, the more it costs.
- Send us your logo (a square PNG or JPEG), your website and one line about you.
- It switches on by itself on your first day and off after your last. There’s nothing for you to manage.
What you get back
Each month we report how many times your name was seen, in dashboards, on event pages and in the app, and how many people tapped through to your website. It’s counted without cookies or tracking of anyone, so it’s clean, honest numbers.
What we don’t accept
Brands that would embarrass the riders and organisers who use Windline, misleading offers, and anything unsafe or illegal. Windline decides which brands to accept.
