About the race
The Quebrantahuesos, whose full sponsored name is Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by TotalEnergies, is a Pyrenean sportive based in Sabiñánigo, Spain. The organiser announced on 14 October 2026 that the 2027 edition would be held on 19 June 2027.
Related events
The weekend also includes the Treparriscos, a mountain bike event with its own start times, rules, categories and maps. The site additionally promotes the Pirineos No Limits programme, a pack-and-accommodation range and a QH Expo for exhibitors. The Quebrantahuesos pages list information, timetables, regulations, a medical certificate section, categories, maps, documents and signage.
Entry basics
The organiser's site has dedicated pages for regulations and for a medical certificate, plus training and premium packs with accommodation, and a list of tour operators. Check the regulations for entry windows, any ballot and cut-off times before registering.
How the 2026 weekend ran
The organiser's most recent logistics notice, for the 2026 event, is a useful guide to how the weekend is arranged. Race numbers are collected on the Friday near the Boulevard in Sabiñánigo, and the ride starts on the Saturday. It advised riders to arrive early and plan their trips. Riders coming from Jaca or Huesca were sent via the N-330 and the Sabiñánigo Sur roundabout. Car parks near the Boulevard have limited capacity, so overflow is directed to the Polígono de Sabiñánigo, from where riders pedal to their start pens along the N-330. Caravans and motorhomes have their own designated zone and cannot park or stay overnight in the Boulevard car parks. Treparriscos riders were advised to arrive earlier still, because authorities may hold riders back until the Quebrantahuesos has set off.
Where to watch
Companions are told to consult a document of road closures, which lists restriction times and the roads that stay open. The start and the number collection in Sabiñánigo are the main gathering points the organiser describes.
Weather
June in the Pyrenees is early summer, and high mountain roads there can be cooler and less settled than the valley around Sabiñánigo. This is general background, not a forecast.
